Claiming on your policy

Start a new claim in Care Hub in three easy steps

  1. Speak to a Vitality GP or your own GP, or refer yourself for certain treatments
  2. Start a claim online in the Care Hub to see if your treatment is covered by your plan
  3. Book your treatment - choose from our list of approved specialists to book your treatment

It’s really important you do this in case you’re not in a position to make the claim yourself.

Other Products

Life insurance pays a lump sum of your choosing on the event of death or diagnosis of a terminal illness.

Policies can cover a specified period of time (the ‘term’), for example 20 years, to match your mortgage or when the children are dependent. Alternatively, Life insurance can be open ended (whole of life) which will pay the sum upon death whenever it occurs which is useful for funeral planning, leaving a legacy or inheritance tax planning.

Income Protection pays a monthly sum, of your choosing, on the event of an accident or sickness or redundancy.

When these things happen your earnings stop (sick pay etc is always limited and non-existent for self-employed, Statutory sick pay is less than £100 per week) the monthly payment helps pay towards your mortgage, rent, bills and lifestyle, protecting any savings, credit score and debts.

The private sector aims to deliver your health care much quicker, with choice, in more comfortable surroundings and access to the latest treatments, all funded by your insurance company.
